My Mum has been a resident at Park View since May 2021. She was residing in another care home prior to Park View with my dad, but he passed away due to Covid. We weren’t very happy with the care she was receiving, and Mum was going downhill pretty quickly, so as a family, we decided to try and move her to Park View. The change in Mum has been amazing; she has improved greatly and seems really happy and content. We can not fault Park View in any way at all.

Since my Mum moved to Park View, both she and her family have had a very positive experience. Staff are extremely friendly, caring and professional, providing a stimulating, safe and loving family environment for the residents. Nothing is too much trouble for staff members. The regular activities, exercise and outings, together with parties and celebrations, ensure everyone is valued and stimulated. Contact with external agencies and medical support is prompt and efficient.

Unfortunately, we lost our dear dad in November, and the care we received during those times was exemplary. Even now, we have messages from home checking on how we are all doing. The change in my grandma since she moved from her previous care home to Park View has been amazing. The care she’s receiving is second to none. It’s all the little things that really encompass how much care and attention the residents receive. For example, Grandma always loved to have her nails painted, and this is something the staff have continued to help her keep up with. Despite the current restrictions, the staff are doing a fantastic job of arranging suitable activities to keep everybody entertained. It’s lovely to see the efforts they go to in order to find out what each resident enjoys and base their birthday parties around these themes.

My mother resides here and has only been here a matter of weeks; the change in her is amazing compared to how she was at her previous care home; we, as a family, are so grateful to the staff for providing excellent care to her. Absolutely recommend this place for the reasons that follow. Genuinely caring staff that do their utmost to engage with all the residents and their families. Management and staff are very transparent; they hide nothing; if ever there are problems within the home, they don’t try to hide it, they record it in their database, but I would say, more importantly, they inform us as families of the residents.
